For better and accurate fastening, draw vertical chalk lines on the water-resistive barrier on every stud location.
When you are moving planks from the pallet to installation, you should not repeat texture patterns when you are moving across the pallet. You can remove two to four planks from a stack on every attempt. Then take materials from the adjacent stacks.
You must use light-colored joint flashing when you are using the light-colored siding. This siding may use ColorPlus technology.
The sheet should be removed immediately after each plank is installed. The siding with ColorPlus technology has a protective laminate layer of slip sheet. This sheet is placed while cutting and fastening as it reduces marring and scratching.

Always wear ear protection while cutting siding.
Storage
Inspect the siding to check damage.
Make sure strong place is flat and has good support.
Keep the place dry.
Support the siding along the cutting length.
Preparation Work
Sheath walls made up of plywood, OSB or oriented strand board.
Cover the sheathing with felt paper.
Fastening
Fasten the siding using hands or pneumatic nailer. You can also use corrosion resistant screws.
You must use hot-dipped galvanized nails.
Nails should penetrate the sheaths 1” at least into the studs.
Keep the nails from the edge at least ¾” to 1”.
You should use roofing nails for blind nails and for face nails select siding nails.
